1. For the first burn, allow the wax to fully liquefy to the jar's edge to set the soy wax memory and ensure even burning. This takes about 1 hour per inch of the jar’s diameter (e.g., 3 inches = 3 hours).
2. Do not burn for more than 4 hours continuously to avoid overheating the glass.
3. After the first burn, trim the wicks to 1/4 inch before each use. Ensure wicks are even for uniform burning and longer life. Long or crooked wicks can cause uneven burning, dripping, or flaring.
4. Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings and debris.
5. Keep candles away from drafts, vents, and air currents to prevent uneven burning, smoking, and excessive dripping. Drafty areas can also make a candle burn faster or pose a fire risk.
6. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish all candles before leaving a room or going to sleep, ensuring the wick ember is no longer glowing.
7. If not using your candle right away, store it in a cool, dark, and dry place to keep it clean and protect the wax and fragrance.
