1️⃣ The first burn is most important and must be long enough to fully liquefy the wax to the edge of the jar. Do not extinguish the first burn until you have a fully liquid wax pool. This usually takes 1 hour for every inch of the jar’s top diameter. (For example: 3 inches = 3 hours) This will set the soy wax memory allowing the candle to burn down
evenly.
2️⃣ Do not exceed 4 hours of continuous burning time to avoid overheating glass.
3️⃣ After the first burn, trim your wicks 1/ inch before each subsequent burn. (Longer wicks = faster burn!) For 3 wick candles, ensure each wick is even in length for an even burning and longer life. Long or crooked wicks can cause uneven burning, dripping, or flaring.
4️⃣ Keep the wax pool clear of any wick trimmings and debris, which could be picked up by the flame.
5️⃣ Keep burning candles away from drafts, vents, and air currents. This will help prevent uneven burning, smoking, and
excessive dripping. Drafty areas can also make a candle burn faster or blow lightweight curtains or papers into the flame where they could catch fire.
6️⃣ Always keep a burning candle within sight and extinguish all candles when leaving a room or before going to sleep. Make sure the wick ember is no longer glowing.
7️⃣ If you are not going to use your candle right away, store the candle in a cool, dark, and dry place until next season. This will keep candles clean of dust and debris and will help protect the wax and fragrance.
